At this time I will only be working with my current students for service dog training. I am back in school getting my Masters degree, so I am not currently taking on any new clients or conducting private lessons at this time. Classes for obedience and various canine sports are available at Montana K9 Sports. (707) 372-5908

PROBLEM SOLVING BEHAVIOR
The bond between dog and human is very unique and rewarding. But sometimes things happen that we don't expect. Dogs don't come with their own manual, and there is no such thing as a single perfect solution to behavioral problems. I can help you and create a personalized training plan that will include behavior modification, counter conditioning, atlernate behaviors, and management strategies. Changing a dog's behavior takes time, patience, and diligence. So we will talk first and make sure that we can set realistic goals and you can do the work to attain them. Specialized training programs need to make good sense, but also be realistic.
Lessons are about an hour and may include meeting at a different location, working in the presence of one of my dogs, etc. Travel expenses outside of Seeley Lake may apply.
Consultation: $50.00
First Lesson: $100 (consultation fee waved)
Subsequent Lessons: $80

MIND YOUR MANNERS
If group classes aren’t for you or your dog, if you have a busy schedule and need to schedule lessons around work and activities, if classes are just too far away but you still want training for your dog, or if you want a more personalized program catered to just you and your dog, then this is for you. I offer a variety of in-home obedience lessons that covers what you specifically want*, and we can cover a lot more than a group class ever could! Learn to teach your dog how to be a well-mannered member of the family in the home and outside in the community.
Build a strong relationship and a better bond with conceptual games that support good-manners and decisions. The games build and refine skills your dog needs to be a good listener and to make proper decisions for good behavioral choices. This is the fun part of training - the joy of training through play.
Price Per Lesson/Hour: $55.00
Lesson Package Special Pricing: $200 (includes 4 lessons/4 hours of instruction for cues)
Cues to Choose From: Sit, Look, Down, Touch, Come (and other forms of recall), Leave It, Wait, Stay, Go On, Loose Leash Walking, Middle, Stand, Drop/Trade, Finish/Side, Speak/Quiet, and Back Up
*This does not include a specialized program for problem behaviors
PUPPY TRAINING AND EDUCATION
Bringing home a new puppy is a very exciting time. But it can also be a bit overwhelming. It is important to get your puppy off to the right start in teaching appropriate behavior, self-control, and good manners. My in-home puppy training helps set you up for success, and gives you ideas and ways to train your puppy within your family lifestyle and schedule, so you can maximize training. The private lessons include all the popular puppy topics, proper training techniques for puppies, the do’s and don'ts of raising a puppy to help prevent unwanted behaviors later, and tools and equipment you will need to make training and life with puppy easier.
This training can be individual lessons or a package at a discounted price. Lessons are conducted in the home. Handouts, video training support, in-home management strategies and foundation obedience training and a number of games that build your relationship and reinforce behaviors for good manners down the road are included.
Individual Leassons: $80 (1.5 hours)
Puppy Package: $300 - 4 visits (6 hours - about an hour and a half each)
